Food Is How We Carry Each Other
TheOtherWife was born from a simple truth — the best food you will ever eat is made in someone's home, by someone who cares.
Why We Built This ?
In Nigeria, the most memorable meals don't come from restaurants. They come from aunties who wake up at 5am to get the stock fish right. From mothers who won't let you leave without eating. From neighbours who drop food over the fence without being asked. That food has a different quality — it carries intention.
TheOtherWife exists to bring that food to more tables. We connect people who love to cook with people who need that kind of meal — cooked with care, made with real ingredients, delivered with dignity.
We are also building something for the cook. In Nigeria, thousands of talented home cooks feed their communities informally — earning little, reaching few people, and receiving none of the recognition they deserve. TheOtherWife gives them a platform: a verified profile, a digital menu, direct payment, and access to customers who are looking exactly for what they make.
We launched in 2026 with a simple MVP: a way to order, a way to cook, and a way to get paid. Everything else — scheduling, AI suggestions, multi-city expansion — will follow. But the foundation will always be the same: authentic food, real chefs, genuine care.

Our Mission
To make authentic home-cooked meals accessible to everyone, while creating meaningful income for talented home cooks across Nigeria.
Our Vision
A Nigeria where every talented cook has a digital kitchen, every household has access to real food, and every meal ordered supports a local family.
Our Core Values
Authenticity
We do not compromise on what 'home-cooked' means. Real ingredients, real recipes, real care.
Trust
Every HomeChef is verified. Every customer is protected. Every transaction is secure.
Community
We are not a tech company that happens to sell food. We are a community platform that uses technology to connect people.
Access
Great food should not be a luxury. We are building towards affordability, not away from it.
